dnota installs 12 bettair sensors in the Balearic Islands and strengthens its leadership.

In April 2022, dnota started the maintenance works of the air quality network of the Balearic Islands. dnota was awarded the maintenance management tender for two years. In the improvement plan. It included the installation of 10 bettair sensors, to increase the sampling points. Then, create a hybrid #airquality network.

The Air Quality Monitoring Stations Network is composed of fixed stations in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, as well as a mobile unit that moves to different locations in the islands. dnota installs 12 bettair sensors in the Balearic Islands, as a plan to help improve air quality in the islands.

10 sensors in the city of Palma and 2 in Ciutadella of Menorca

During the month of February, dnota made a request to the Ciutadella City Council, with the intention of installing 2 bettair nodes in Ciutadella, and thus support the Sustainable Mobility Plan launched by the city. The bettair device, will provide very accurate data on air pollution, as well as noise pollution.

On the island of #Mallorca, a sensor has been installed in the mobile unit, which is currently in Manacor sampling, and the rest, in the city of #Palma. In total dnota installs 12 sensors in the Balearic Islands.

The importance of Air Quality

The #atmospheric #pollution and #acoustic #pollution are problems that affect our environment and can have serious consequences for our #health and well-being. That is why it is becoming increasingly important to have a rigorous and exhaustive control over these factors, in order to take measures to reduce their impact and improve people’s quality of life.

In this sense, the combination of a traditional air quality network with bettair sensors can be a very effective solution to control pollution. More accurate and complete way.

Hybrid network in the Balearic Islands

The traditional #airquality network is able to collect accurate and reliable data, which are analyzed and processed by experts in the field to produce reports and statistics that allow to know the evolution of pollution in the city and establish control and prevention measures.

On the other hand, bettair sensors are devices that can be installed in different parts of the city to measure air and noise pollution in a more localized and detailed way. These sensors measure the concentration of the same pollutants as the traditional network (including noise pollution), but do so with a higher frequency and accuracy.

We also have our #corporate video, with the vision of how to control the air we breathe and linkedIn. twitter and Youtube.

The leading operator of hybrid Air Quality networks

It does not matter to worry about air quality, and this implies being attentive to the levels of pollution present in the #atmosphere. Helping to minimise the #human impact on the #environment too. Thus we advise the different agencies on the implementation of policies and regulations that reduce emissions of #pollutants, as well as the promotion of more environmentally friendly practises in #industry, and #daily life. Good air quality is essential for the health of human beings, and the environment in general.
