On 16 September 2026, news of Bettair's AIRLAB awards was distributed through the press release service of Europa Press, one of Spain's leading news agencies. It has since been published on europapress.es and several portals in its group, as well as on Canal Social and Web Ciudadana, and sent to the agency's newswire subscribers.

The coverage reaches very different audiences: general news, business, health, culture and Latin American affairs. A sign that air quality matters well beyond the environmental sector.

The story behind the news

The fifth edition of the AIRLAB Microsensors Challenge, organised by AIRLAB Solutions and Airparif, evaluated 47 microsensor models from Africa, North America, Asia and Europe over several months of independent testing in real-world conditions.

Bettair achieved the best overall Outdoor Air Monitoring result in Paris, Accra and Bangalore, as well as in the new underground railway station environment in Île-de-France. Five further category awards bring the total to nine.
