AethLabs microAeth® MA300 Black Carbon Monitor
The microAeth® MA300 is the market-leading Black Carbon monitor designed for accurate and long-lasting monitoring in stationary and mobile environments. With its compact and lightweight design, this device is essential for measuring Black Carbon, a critical air pollutant, also known as Soot or Carbon Black.
This advanced monitor provides accurate, real-time measurements of the ambient concentration of carbonaceous particles thanks to its five UV-IR wavelengths and moving belt filter system. Equipped with an integrated electric suction pump, the MA300 allows continuous measurements for 3-12 months. Its long-lasting rechargeable battery and advanced features such as integrated GPS, humidity and temperature sensors make it the ideal choice for long-term air quality and air pollution studies.
The MA300 uses the innovative DualSpot® loading method, developed with the financial support of federal NIBIB grants, allowing it to distinguish between different combustion sources, such as diesel, wood smoke, biomass and tobacco. Its 85-location moving belt filter allows extended continuous sampling for up to 12 months, adapting to different environments and instrument configurations.
If you are looking for an essential tool for scientists, researchers and professionals working in the field of air quality and public health, the microAeth® MA300 with DualSpot® technology for Black carbon is the perfect choice.
