Challenge
Las Rozas de Madrid, a dynamic municipality near Spain’s capital, faces air quality challenges due to urban growth and increased vehicular traffic. To protect public health and maintain environmental standards, the city needed an accurate, real-time air quality monitoring system capable of identifying pollution hotspots and guiding policy decisions quickly.
Solution
In November 2024 , dnota was commissioned to deploy Bettair IoT sensors for air quality monitoring throughout Las Rozas. These state-of-the-art sensors provide real-time data on key pollutants such as particulate matter PM₂.₅ and PM₁₀. Its compact design allows for easy integration with existing urban infrastructure. The system ‘s software and hardware upgrades ensure accurate data and real-time analysis, facilitating rapid responses to pollution spikes, thus protecting residents and workers.
